Dale Lisa Flint Brings Shakespeare, Time Travel, and a Boss Leading Lady to Tallahassee
Finding Juliet author Dale Lisa Flint begins her East Coast book tour this weekend, July 26-27, with two events in Tallahassee. On Saturday, July 26, she will chat about her book and lead the audience in a game of Who Said it–Shakespeare, Tupac, or Taylor Swift? You don’t want to miss the fun at My Favorite Books, 1410 Market St., from 1-3 pm.
On Sunday, July 27, Dale will facilitate a free sonnet-writing workshop at Common Ground Books, 1102 S. Adams St., from 4:00-5:30 pm. You’ll be able to buy a copy of Finding Juliet and get an author signature at both events. Refreshments will be served!

The Dragon Box by Rhett DeVane is a Finalist in the Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA) President’s Book Awards! The order of finish (First, Second, or Third) will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at FAPACon in Orlando on August 2.
So Many Animals! Receives Silver Award from Mom’s Choice Awards
So Many Animals! A Child’s Book of Poetry, an anthology of poems about animals, each with its own coloring-book-style illustration, recently received a Silver Award from the Mom’s Choice Awards. Kirkus Reviews called the book “A delightful poetry anthology that readers of all ages will enjoy.” The book will be featured at Kidtown Story & Craft Time on April 15 at 10AM. The event will take place at Midtown Reader, Tallahassee’s only New York Times reporting, general-subject, independent bookstore, selling new books.
